About this
The boat leaves from the River Tern Lodge jetty in the late afternoon and works along the sanctuary side of the lake, where the forest comes straight down to the water. Gaur and elephant are regular at the shoreline in the dry months, crocodile and otter along the banks, and from February to June the tern islands are a cloud of birds. ₹600 per adult, booked at tickets.bhadratigerreserve.in. It is the gentlest way to see the sanctuary and the only way to see it from the water.

Guide required. You cannot do this one on your own. The boat is the Forest Department’s and comes with its own crew.
No guide on MaladTrip has listed this one yet, so it cannot be booked here. Since this one cannot be done without a guide, arrange one locally before you set out. We have described it anyway: it is worth doing, and we would rather tell you it exists than pretend it does not.
