About this
An easy evening for the first or last day of a trip: out to the lake by five, a walk along the bund while the light goes, and the hills of Mullayanagiri and Baba Budangiri reflected in the water. A guide adds the names of the peaks and the birds on the reeds, and knows the tea shop on the way back. No effort, no permit, and one of the best hours in the district for the price of a jeep.
