About this

The path leaves from behind the Raj Bhavan guesthouse, passes Shanti Falls in a few minutes, and then follows the ridge through pockets of shola forest to the viewpoint. It is short and only steep in one stretch, which is why it suits a morning before breakfast. Go early: by ten the cloud has usually built and the view is gone. A guide is not needed for the path but is useful for the birds, which are excellent in the shola.

Where it starts

Guide optional. Go with a guide or go on your own — entirely your call. The path is short and obvious. A guide is worth it for the birds in the shola, not for the navigation.

No guide on MaladTrip has listed this one yet, so it cannot be booked here. You can still do it on your own — the details above are what you need. We have described it anyway: it is worth doing, and we would rather tell you it exists than pretend it does not.
